Siteplanr Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or purchasing from Siteplanr ("we," "us," or "our") at siteplanr.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or make a purchase. These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use our services. For how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy.

2. Products and Digital Delivery

Siteplanr sells pre-designed ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) plan sets as digital downloads. After you complete a purchase, we deliver the full plan set to the email address you used at checkout and enable access in your My floorplans account within approximately 3–5 business days (excluding weekends and U.S. federal holidays). Delivery includes a link to download a ZIP file containing:

• A PDF of the full design drawing set
• Editable CAD files of the drawings

Delivery is electronic. You are responsible for providing a valid email address at checkout and for downloading your files promptly. If you experience any issue with your download, contact us at support@siteplanr.com and we will assist you.

3. License and Permitted Use

When you purchase a plan set from Siteplanr, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the drawings for your own personal building project(s). Specifically:

• You may use the plans for one or more builds on properties you own or control.
• You may share the files with your contractor, architect, engineer, or other consultants working directly on your project.
• You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or make the plans available to any third party for commercial purposes.
• You may not use the plans as the basis for a competing plan set or product.

All intellectual property rights in the designs remain the property of Siteplanr. Purchase of a plan set does not transfer any ownership of the underlying design or copyright.

4. Refund Policy

All sales are final. Because our products are custom-prepared digital files delivered after your purchase (typically within 3–5 business days), we do not offer refunds once a download link has been accessed or the files have been downloaded.

If you have a technical issue preventing you from accessing your files, please contact us before initiating any dispute or chargeback. We are happy to re-send download links or troubleshoot delivery issues.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our plan sets are designed to a high standard, but Siteplanr makes no guarantees that any plan will be approved by your local jurisdiction as-is. Building codes, zoning regulations, setback requirements, and other rules vary by city, county, and state. It is your responsibility to:

• Verify that the design is permitted on your specific property.
• Engage a licensed local architect, designer, structural engineer, or general contractor to review the plans, make any required modifications, and manage the permitting process.
• Obtain any required third-party reports, such as a Title 24 energy compliance report in California (we can help coordinate this — reach out after purchase).
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local laws and regulations.

The plans are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or regulatory compliance.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Siteplanr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our products or services — including but not limited to permit denials, construction costs, contractor disputes, or project delays.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the applicable plan set.

7. Design Revision Services

We offer paid design revision services on a project-by-project basis. If you are interested in modifications to a plan set, contact us with a description of the changes you need and we will provide a written estimate. Revision work is subject to a separate agreement and payment terms confirmed at the time of engagement.

8. Email and Marketing Communications

By making a purchase, you agree to receive transactional emails related to your order. You may also be added to our marketing email list. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly. We will never sell your personal information to third parties.

9. Third-Party Payment Processing

Payments on siteplanr.com are processed by a third-party payment processor (such as Stripe). By making a purchase, you also agree to the terms of service of that payment processor. Siteplanr does not store your full credit card information.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Siteplanr shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in California.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site or our products after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
